The Hook Up

We absolutely LOVED our experience at The Hook Up Rooftop Bar & Grill in Ocean City! We enjoyed it so much that we didn’t come just once — we came back TWICE during our trip! ❤️

This was our first time visiting this rooftop bar, even though we come to Ocean City every year, and it will definitely not be our last. The atmosphere was amazing, the food was a solid 10/10, and the service was 100%!

A HUGE shoutout to Elena — she was absolutely incredible and truly made our experience that much better. We sincerely hope to see her again when we come back next year! Lettie was also amazing and took such great care of us.

Finding a place where you genuinely enjoy the atmosphere, food, and service all at once makes such a difference, and The Hook Up checked every box for us. We will absolutely be recommending this place to our friends and family and anyone visiting OCMD.

The waitress was friendly and helpful, the food was delicious! The fish tacos, wedge salad, and cheese curds were great! Loved the pineapple coconut crush. Rooftop pool and bar atmosphere. Music was (too) loud inside, but it was a beach party vibe. Inside and outside small table seating.

So I ended up here after a bad experience at a different place and wow was I surprised. The staff was amazing and helped me better than I have been helped in a restaurant in a long time. We got a lot of food when we went since we were hungry. Food wise, the smash burger was good, had a lot of onion powder or actual onion in the meat. Wasn't bad, just wasn't what I expected. The loaded fries and tots were amazing 10/10 totally recommend. The crab cake was something that I probably wouldn't get again, but I am not a huge seafood guy. The place itself isn't much of a sit down and eat place, as much as it is a bar. That being said if your doing Doordash or pickup, this place is worth going back to more than once. I know I will go back,
