Nice place to camp in the early season before a bunch of people start coming. Couldn’t find anyone who worked there so I booked online and hoped for the best. The tent area was nice without anyone else around, otherwise it would be one right next to the other. Couldn’t find bathroom facilities. I couldn’t even figure out where I was camping as the areas are not clearly marked (one small sign at one of the 2 entrances). Thankfully 2 other people who had been there before were able to guide me through the process. All in all I had a nice stay and was secluded which was what I wanted.

Pocomoke River State Park is one of our favorites to visit! In the Spring it's so refreshing to breathe in fresh air. In Summer, we are delighted with pool access, ice cream cones and s'mores, paddling around the river, or 30 minutes to OC and Assateague Island. And, in Autumn (when kids are firmly back into school), adults can enjoy the gorgeous array of colors portrayed in the leaves and reflected upon the water! Magnificent!

Beautiful sites for camping, some with electric (no water at sites). Great boat launch area with docks. Fishing. Hiking trails. Nature Center. Well provisioned camp store.
