Homer Gudelsky Park

It looks great from afar. You can see the Beach area from rt 50 bridge. But unfortunately there's only 5 free parking spaces. A neigh has opened their property for paid parking which is smart on their part but I wasn't paying $10 for parking just to check the place out. Took my dog on a long Walk in Bayside Park in OC instead.

Parking is very limited (maybe 5 spots?) and access to beach is on residential street. The neighbors across from the park were selling parking spots in their drive way. However, the trip was worth it. After a small walk down the beach my dog was able to swim which was nice on this hot day. We also saw several fish and a manta ray that swam in the shallow water right up to the shore line. There was some wildlife (not sure what it was) that was fighting in the bushes right on the beach that my dog was very interested in investigating. Would definitely come back for a quick swim to tire out the dog.
