Golden Sands Ocean Resort

My husband and I got married at the Golden Sands on July 13, 2024. My family and I grew up staying at the Golden Sands for our annual family vacations and it was always my dream to get married there.

My husband and I live in the Scranton area, so we were not familiar with vendors in Maryland. Melissa sent us countless recommendations for florists, entertainment, catering, and more! We were so thankful to have the help and guidance to find our perfect vendors.

Other than the majority of our wedding day being rainy and foggy, it was nothing short of perfect. The staff was top notch, especially the bartenders, and they were so helpful and accommodating. Melissa was also available the day of and helped to ensure the ceremony and reception areas were prepped and ready. The views from the 22nd floor are unmatched and on a nice day the ocean looks as though it goes on forever.

Our family stayed on the 20th floor of the Golden Sands the week after the wedding for the first time in years and had the best time. From the indoor pool to the tiki bar there is always something to keep you busy.

We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding venue and could not recommend the Golden Sands enough, whether it be for your wedding day or a week long family vacation.

We got married at the Golden Sands on November 8, 2024. I can’t say enough great things about the venue and event coordinator, MELISSA. The reception room is absolutely stunning and presents with natural beauty - you don’t have to stress decor. The view from the 22nd floor is breath taking. Melissa is a gem, who we consider a close family friend now. Her heart is in her work and it shows. She is genuine and kind. The venue and Melissa made our wedding planning / reception absolutely perfect. As a day we will remember for the rest of our lives, im truly grateful for our experience. 10/10 recommend !!

The venue is absolutely breathtaking and the perfect location for a beach wedding. The bridal suite is located right next to the venue and is a huge, well appointed, comfortable room for bride and bridesmaids to get ready for the ceremony.
Melissa and all the staff were so supportive and went above and beyond to provide an unforgettable celebration! They seem to love what they do and it comes across in the smiles, laughter, and joy that our guests had on that day.
